This popular and beautiful 4* Hotel is situated directly on Las Coloradas Beach, with the ‘Lagoon Rooms’ located on stilts over the seawater Lagoon, and being an Adult Only property, you will surely be able to enjoy the peace and quiet and ambience of the crystal clear waters lapping underfoot.  With it’s brightly coloured decor, well kept gardens and array of facilities the hotel is the ideal getaway for couples.  Located on the stunningly beautiful and peaceful white sandy beach, the off shore coral reef is 2km away, so plenty for those who really enjoy snorkelling and diving.

Accommodation

The well appointed rooms have 2 double beds or 1 King Size bed, air conditioning, satelite TV, radio/alarm, coffee making facilities, ironing facilities, hairdryer, full bathroom and balcony or terrace.  Rooms for Sole Use and Junior Suites with King Size bed and a small living area are available at a supplement.  The Junior Suites are located in the main building of the Hotel.  Lagoon Rooms and suites (with seperate living area and King Size bed) are built on stilts and overlook the lagoon and are also available at a supplement.  Prices are based on 2 adults sharing on All Inclusive board basis.

Facilities

The Hotel boasts a beautifully designed freeform swimming pool surrounded by spacious sun terraces and with an abundence of sun loungers and parasols.  There is 24 hour reception at your disposal, money exchange facilities and 24 hour room service. 

Restaurants and Bars

Melia Cayo Coco offers 1 buffet restaurant, International a la carte, Italian a la carte and Barbecue/Grill a la carte restaurants along with beach barbecue.  You are entitled to one reservation per week at each of the a la carte restaurants for dinner only.  A la Carte lunch is available also.  Snacks are served 24 hours.

There are also 3 bars consisting of the 24 hour Lobby Bar, pool bar and the billiard bar.  Included in the All Inclusive package are an unlimited amount of hot,  soft and alcoholic drinks including some international brands which are served 24 hours a day.  There is also a minibar in your room which is restocked daily with water, soft drinks and local beer (Crystal or Mayabe)

Activities

There is an abundence of activities to keep you entertained if you wish, these include aerobics, aquaerobics, archery, basketball, volleyball, darts, football, french bowls, pool table, table tennis, tennis, bicycles, water polo, kayaking, pedaloes, sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing and also an introductory scuba dive in the pool.  Pool/Beach towels are also included, so no need to pack towels!   There is also a Gym, Massage is available and Sauna.

Guests can also use the facilities at the nearby Sol Cayo Coco, Sol Cayo Guillermo, Tryp Cayo Coco and the Melia Cayo Guillermo between 9am and 5pm.

Entertainment

At Melia Cayo Coco there is a comprehensive programme with frequent daytime activities and evening entertainment usually including live music, shows, dancing lessons and beach and/or pool games.

Weddings and Honeymoons

There is a FREE Wedding package for groups of 17 adults or more staying for 7 nights or 8 adults or more staying for 14 nights.

Honeymooners receive fruit, flowers and wine in their room on arrival, a honeymoon breakfast, one romantic dinner for two and private check in.  For those newlywed at home, please take your Marriage Certificate as it must be produced to receive these extras.  Couples have to have been married up to 6 months before arrival to qualify.
